Holder of a law degree and of a complementary Masters in notarial law, Damien CARLY worked for 12 years in various notary practices in the Brussels region.

Damien essentially handled inheritance, sale of property, sale by auction, divorce and company formation matters, and acquired a deep knowledge of all aspects of notarial practice.

At the age of 38, ready to achieve his teenage dream, he took the CAPA conversion course and was enrolled in the Brussels bar. His career as an avocat was under way.

Since 2008, Damien has built a client-base of families and small SMEs whom he advises on divorce, tenancy disputes, sale of land, inheritance, liquidation and distribution, and the administration of persons and property, as well as notarial responsibility/liability.

His greatest assets are his deep knowledge of his cases, his expertise, his personal commitment and his rapid and thorough responses. Available 24 hours a day, he uses his network of external contacts, experts, notaries and professional colleagues as necessary, to bring his assignments to a successful conclusion.

With a deeply-held belief that training is at the heart of all success, Damien is a keen follower of the CPD (continuing professional development) programme run by the bar council of Brussels and other institutions.

Since September 2019, Damien has been training in civil and commercial mediation.
